A Gazette Christmas

Ruki's POV~

Yup, I was excited, too excited. Guess what? TOMORROW IS CHRISTMAS!
No concert, no practice, how wonderful is that?
The most wonderful thing is Reita is coming over to help me prepare everything. I wonder if he bring any presents for me. I knew that he is the stingiest person on Earth but when he comes to me, he had to 'contribute' his money. I love the look at his face when I overspent his money.

The doorbell rung, I was caught in surprised, "Who could that be?"

"Reita-kun!" I called and jumped straightly into his embrace. That warm pair of arms and that sexy muscular chest are the things that made me crazy about his body. He is just so handsome; no other man would ever match up with him. I remember that day , that special day , he confessed to me , telling me that he can't stand it anymore , he wants me to know that he love me. How sweet! He is so damn cute.

"You don't have to be so hyper every time you see me."

I knew that he is embarrassed with his blushing cheeks and his hazel eyes that couldn't look straight at me. Such a perfect boyfriend for me! Did I mention that he is so handsome?
"Don't be ungrateful, Reita-kun, I will be only hyper when I'm with you." I dragged him to the door frame, to the spot where I hung that mistletoe Uruha gave me.

"What is that?" Reita was clueless when he saw the mistletoe.

"Ah, this is called the mistletoe." I pointed and giggled.

"So what is the purpose you and me standing underneath it?" Reita gave me his curious look and scratching his head. He is so cute when he is so clueless about something. Oh god, I fall for him even more.

I leaned closer to capture his lips, smiled to see Reita stunned. I broke the kiss, "Do you understand the purpose yet?"

Reita smirked, "You are so naughty for sneaking on me like that." He lifted and carried me in bridal style, staring at me. Oh dear, my heart was thumping again, my cheeks were burning, I tried to hide my face , I hate that he will see through me and tease for acting so girly like this.

"So, where are the decorations?" Reita asked when he saw the empty Christmas tree I placed it in my living room.

"I will try to find it, just wait for a second." I rushed to the store, busy searching for those cute Christmas decorations. Finally, I found it. A whole box of them. Not that I bought them all, all these were present from my fans. Guess how popular I am.

"Here it is." I held him the box and smiled. "You know I invite Uruha, Aoi and Kai for dinner right?" I just wanted to remind Reita about the Christmas Eve dinner that I planned. I just saw him smiling towards me and nodded. He gave me a sign to ask me to go to the kitchen.

"Don't worry, I will handle everything here." Reita seem to full of confident that he can decorate that Christmas tree. But that makes me even worried, he never decorate a tree before. Hope that everything will be alright.


~Reita's POV~

DAMN! I don't even know where to start. I shouldn't have acted like a smart ass to offer my help to Ruki. I picked those little decoration from the box, looking at it, no clue what am I suppose to do with it. A reindeer, a Santa, the star, lights, glittery stuff, and whatever in it, I just found it every hard to pick the right one for the tree. I meant the tree is not so tall and yet the decorations are these much.

I arranged them on the floor. I tried to recall how those Christmas tree at the mall look. Basically they only decorated them with bows and star, nope, not light. That's not right, Ruki love the lights the most, so I got to put the lights on.

I picked the light first, circled it around the tree, but it look so weird. How can the lights are all messed up with the branches. Oh no, the lights won't come off, I pulled it hard from the Christmas. Wait! If I screw up the lights, Ruki will sure kill me for that. What should I do?  

I slowly found the tight up spot, pulling the lights descending direction; finally the lights are on the floor again. "So which one first? The lights or these?" I mumbled and blew a big sigh.

~Ruki POV~

I was troubled by my curiosity, what is Reita up to? Did he get the tree done yet? Or he is in trouble himself? I leave my work and trying to peak at my poor Reita. I can see him sitting on the floor, trying to decide which to put. Aw, he didn't want to screw things up for me even though he didn't know how to do it. I smiled, how sweet of him to try celebrating Christmas because me, this would be his first Christmas. I will just trust him and leave everything to him, how hard it is to decorate a tree.

~Reita POV~

"Ok, this goes here and this goes here!" I start to put up the candy canes and angels decoration. Wow, I'm such a genius, I finally putting up something on the tree. So I trying to arrange the decoration based on their weight, the heavy one goes to the bottom and the lighter one goes to the top. Oh great, I finally finished the small decorations now its turn for the lights.

Oh no! Again with the lights! This time I'm not going to make anymore mistake. I slowly circled the lights on the tree again. I remember to putting more patients into this work. Great, the lights were attached to the tree. I plugged it in, the Christmas lights works! I jumped in excitement; I didn't screw up this time.

I called Ruki from the kitchen; he was delighted that I finally finished with the tree. I could see his eyes were blinking, so shiny when he saw the lights. I felt like I done a great thing today.

"I knew that you could handle the tree, pretty well for your first time."

"You were lucky that I'm born a genius."

Ruki chuckled, "Oh the great genius Reita-sama, can you help me to wrap some present?"

I gulped, "Present? Sure I can help." Sometime I'm going to slap myself for acting like a smart ass again. I knew Ruki was secretly giggled, he knew I'm the biggest idiot in wrapping stuff and yet I'm willing to help him. I wish I could try to reject him sometime but it is so hard. He always give me those puppy eyes, I just defeated by him.

"Great, they are all on the table." Ruki ran off to the kitchen again; leaving me with a bundle of misery.


~Ruki POV~

It was nice to have the tree done; I wonder how Reita will wrap the present. He can be clumsy; I hope that he didn't cut himself this time. I was alerted by the oven's timer, grabbed my gloves, and opened up the oven. My Christmas cookies are finally done. I will have Reita to be the first one to taste my cookies. I placed the cookies on the plate and headed to Reita.

~Reita POV~

"Should I cut like this or just wrap the whole thing?" I questioned myself, wrapping present really need some knowledge, once again I have to blew a sigh. Oh yeah , didn't I just bought that book , 'Wrapping Present for Dummies' , just in case I come up with a situation like this. I left, went to my car, searching for that book.

~Ruki POV~

I saw Reita was missing. He didn't even begin anything yet. I smiled, wondering should I lend a hand for him. He seem so helpless, maybe I shouldn't asked Reita to do it.

Suddenly, I heard Reita rushing into the house. He came in with a book in his hand and sit down. He looked at me with a grin on his face, "You don't have to worry, and I will get things done here."

"You know, you can just leave it if you didn't want to do it." I pat on his shoulders and smiled.

"No! I'm going to do it!" Reita showed me his determination into finishing his quest.
Reita stared at me, "I'm doing it because I –I lo-love y-you." Oh dear, he spilt out those three magic words again, even though his voice was shaky, he still able to make me happy after listening to him.

"I baked these cookies to show my appreciation." I handed him the plate. "Be careful, it's …"

"OUCH!" Reita yelled after taking the cookies. He quickly put it back and blew his fingers.

"Hot."

"You should tell me from the beginning."

I laughed, "That is your own fault for being impatient." I took his fingers, licked them one by one. I could feel that Reita gazed at me, "My mother said that licking the finger will cool them down." I gave him the innocent smile.

"Don't you know licking my finger will only bring to it?" Reita smirked.

I can sense something totally dangerous is going to happen to me. I sweat, "Wait, Reita, I didn't mean anything by that." I stepped back slowly to try an escape plan from Reita.

He lean and capture my waist when I let off my guard. "You did a very big mistake by licking these." He hit me with a sexy whisper. Gripped my wrist and pushed me to the wall slowly, he sniffed, "I love the smell of chocolate chip cookies."
"Wait, the cookies are over there, not here!" I wiggled, struggled to get myself off of this situation. I could see his eyes were only concentrating on me, how scary yet wonderful.

"I can't wait any more; I'm so hungry for Ruki now!" Reita lifted me up without hesitating, he was headed to my room, where is bed .BED! HELP ME!

I kicked and scratched him; there is no respond from him. I could only see his evil grin. HORNY BASTARD!  I was thrown to the bed with the room was locked by Reita. Guess my Christmas Eve dinner won't go well.

~7 pm~

"Why are you bringing all these food when we are going to have dinner at Ruki's place?" Aoi raised his eyebrow and annoyed a little by Kai. He can't stand his car smelling like pizza, Chinese food, spaghetti, curry and other stuff.

Uruha chuckled, "Don't be mad with Kai, we all know that Ruki won't make it for the dinner."

"What? Why?" Aoi asked.

Kai smiled, "Having Reita to go help Ruki will only end up IT."

Three men blew sighs.

"I should have known that we can't count on Reita." Aoi laughed.

Aoi knocked on the door, gasped, "What are you wearing, Reita?" Apparently, the three men were shocked that Reita was only half naked when he answers the door.

"Umm, I'm still in my jeans." Reita had his goofy smile.

"That is not your jeans, its Ruki's, what had you done with our vocalist?" Aoi noticed the jeans Reita wear had the special Ruki tag. That is the special mark Ruki put onto everything he owns including his underwear.

Reita pat on the older man's shoulder, "Don't worry, he is still sleeping."

Uruha and Kai could only shake their heads; luckily Kai brought all the food for dinner.

"Still sore?" Uruha asked when Ruki appeared on the table.

Ruki yawned. "Yup, Reita didn't show any mercy on me."

All of them laughed.

"Come on, let's eat."

"We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year …" All the Gazette members gathered at the living room to sing Christmas carols. It was a simple and great way to celebrate this special holiday.

The clock strikes twelve, time sure passed by really fast when they were having fun.

"Hey, someone is playing with the fireworks, come on." Kai sounded excited to hear the exploding sound coming from outside. He was the first one to run outside just to watch it.

Aoi, Uruha, Ruki and Reita followed from the back. They were amazed by the beautiful glowing and loud fireworks. Many people joined to enjoy this Christmas morning with colorful blast in the air.

"Merry Christmas, Reita." Ruki smiled and stared at the blond hair bassist.

"Merry Christmas, Ruki." The bassist smiled back.

Both men leaned closer, their lips was getting so close with the eyes were slightly closing. Their attempted to kiss was broken by Kai who jumped in between them by surprise.

"So where is my present?"

Reita and Ruki chuckled.

"Reita didn't finish wrapping the present, he was distracted." Ruki explained.

"EHH?!" Uruha, Kai and Aoi were disbelieving that they can't receive a Christmas present on Christmas morning.

"That's it, next year we are going to celebrate Christmas at my place." Uruha was furious about the Christmas present.

"And I'm going to help you then." Aoi grinned.
"There it goes again." Kai sighed and bet next year Christmas will end up without a Christmas dinner again.
